Dear Sir,

The trains towards south India in Pune Rly.station are not being announced or informed about the arrival and depature correctly.

This is happening Only at Pune Rly. station, they are not even displaying right train numbers . eg:Date: 7th November 2008; for train number:718 they displayed as 178. And they even DID not announce that train has reached and left the station; Acutally they announced as train is 40 minutes late. But Funny part is Train came at right time and left the station!

Such incidents are NOT new to Pune station, All the speakers will not announce at the same time,even if people are sitting just below a speaker thinking not to miss the announcement, But that speaker may or may not give the message some other speakers will work this time.

They are not announcing in English language too. Once in some 10-15 mins. they are announcing.

They are never sure of the platform numbers. But I do not know why do they announce wrong platform numbers. They could just give the right platform number just by the time the train reaches the station. So that it will not create confusion or caos to the passengers.

Dear sir I have been travelling in Indian Railways since 1999, But I have never faced such situation in any station before. Please kindly take the necessary action.

For more than five years we are demanding to increase the number of comfartment for the Lonavala _Pune local trains. But so far no constructive action has been taken. Rail administration says, the work is going on.
Sir,
If you look in the matter and help the daily passengers in solving this problem, peoples by and large will become happy.
Please introduce additional recks for Lonaval_Pune way.
You can think of short journey
such as
Pune _ Chincwad Vice versa
Chinchwad_Talegaon Vice-versa
Talegaon_Lonavala Vice versa
If you consider the above things the load on the rail route will definately decrease.
Another point is that Nasik _Pune Express train donot have that much of rush that railway administration would have considered before starting the railway.
Please introduce that train, stoppages at ShivajiNagar while going towards Nasik.
