India's Bharti Airtel Ltd. reported a 34 percent rise in first quarter net profit on robust growth in its mobile subscriber base and said it remains confident of continuing to power growth.
For the quarter to end-June, the country's second largest telecom company said its net profit rose to 21.67 billion rupees from 14.24 billion rupees last year, while total revenues grew 44 percent to 84.83 billion rupees.
