Today is the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak the first Guru and Founder of Sikhism. The festivities in the Sikh religion revolve around the anniversaries of the 10 Sikh Gurus. He was born on 15th April, 1469 at Rai-Bhoi-di Talwandi in the present distrect of Shekhupura (Pakistan), now Nanakana Sahib.
